Highlights of the July Self-Expression Session for Neurodiverse

Good day to you all,

Our next monthly gathering is Saturday, 17th August.

Drop off at 1pm.

Parents and carers are invited to join us at 4pm for afternoon tea, and a performance.

These are regular monthly gatherings and an opportunity for young adults to express their unique talents with music, dance, drama, comedy and storytelling.

Address for August, 2-6 Louisa Rd Birchgrove NSW 2140.

Highlights from the July Session:

Sebastian was overjoyed to be dancing to one of his favourite Michael Jackson songs. We choreographed simple movements behind him as the chorus and he took the solo parts. It was evident he was in his “zone” and we were delighted to watch his ability to dance.

Amy always loves to dance, and especially swinging with me around in circles and jumping. It’s a joy to hear her gleefully express herself.

She now has a repertoire of many poems and jokes and keen to perform them in her own manner. Unexpectedly, she read to us all from a favourite book and the boys enjoyed a siesta in the afternoon sunshine!

Jaydin always enjoys the opportunity to dance and has a keen eye as he watches the new steps and movements, and copies. As an actor with autism, his deep desire is to be involved in professional filming. Each session we polish his “audition” pieces so he is ready for that golden opportunity with memorised pieces. He is currently learning Shakespeare.

Enclosed link to register for the August gathering.

A poem will be sent to you after registration, and we encourage all participants to bring their favourite stories, poems, music.

God bless you all

Tracy

Amy loves to read us a story as the boys have a siesta after dancing for a few hours 🤣
